Terms and Scope for Meta-Analysis Consultation & Support

1. Permitted Use of Time

This service is designed for flexible, ad-hoc support. You may utilize booked hours for any stage of the systematic review or meta-analysis process, including but not limited to:

• Strategic Planning: Refining research questions (PICO) and protocol registration.
• Data Extraction: Extracting data from PDF articles or cleaning existing datasets.
• Mentoring: One-on-one educational walk-throughs of the meta-analysis process.

2. Booking & Billing Increments

• Minimum Booking: Sessions must be booked for a minimum of one (1) hour.
• Additional Time: Work requested beyond the scheduled call (e.g., “Can you finish this code for me after we hang up?”) will be billed in 15-minute increments at the standard hourly rate.
• Cancellations: Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule a session without penalty.

3. Deliverables

Unlike the Comprehensive Package, the Hourly Consultation does not guarantee a finished meta-analysis product unless sufficient hours are booked to complete the work. Deliverables are defined by what can reasonably be achieved within the booked timeframe.
