Welcome to MyEducationResearcher. These Terms of Service govern your use of the MyEducationResearcher web application and platform (the “Service”), operated by My Education Researcher LLC. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. AI Output Acknowledgment MyEducationResearcher integrates Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to process, summarize, and synthesize academic literature. Due to the inherent nature of artificial intelligence, the Service may occasionally generate outputs that contain inaccuracies, incomplete information, or misinterpretations of the source material. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for independently verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated insights, citations, or summaries before utilizing them in formal research, publications, or operational decision-making.

2. User-Uploaded Content & Copyright The Service allows users to securely upload external PDF documents for AI analysis. You retain all ownership rights to the documents you upload. However, by uploading a document, you represent and warrant that you possess the appropriate legal rights, licenses, or authorizations to reproduce and process that content. You agree not to upload copyrighted, paywalled, or proprietary material for which you do not have the legal right to use. My Education Researcher LLC accepts no liability for copyright infringement resulting from user-uploaded content.

3. Acceptable Use & Intellectual Property MyEducationResearcher grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for research and educational purposes. The core application architecture, proprietary data-fetching logic, UI/UX, and specific LLM prompts are the exclusive intellectual property of My Education Researcher LLC. You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or underlying prompts of the Service.
  • Use automated scripts, scrapers, or bots to access or extract data from the Service.
  • Use the Service to build a competing product or application.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. My Education Researcher LLC makes no explicit warranties regarding uninterrupted access, entirely error-free operation, or specific system performance metrics.

5. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, My Education Researcher LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including lost profits, reputational damage, or data loss) arising from your use of the Service. In no event shall My Education Researcher LLC’s total aggregate liability exceed the total amounts paid by you to My Education Researcher LLC in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
